How advisers use the Map My Risk Partner Portal, in 77 seconds

This short video shows a day in the Map My Risk Partner Portal: a family asks for a consultation, the adviser sends an assessment the client answers and consents to, and walks into the meeting knowing the gaps in the areas the client chose to share.

The adviser and client are illustrative, but what the portal shows is real: Arjun's answers were run through the portal's own code, so the lead card, the consent wording and the recommendation draft are what an insurance adviser would see.

What happens in the video

  1. 0:00 Know your client's risks before the first meeting

The Map My Risk Partner Portal, for advisers. MIRA, the assessment guide, shows how an adviser uses it.

  2. 0:06 Join: get verified, get found

Apply to the network with your registration and at least 5 years in practice. Our team checks your registration by hand. Activate your portal with a one-time code and your own 6-digit PIN, then build your profile in 11 steps to be listed in Trusted Experts.

  3. 0:15 Leads: families come to you

Families who have mapped their risks find you in Trusted Experts and request a consultation. Arjun, from Pune, asks for a family protection review. He arrives as a new inquiry, not yet assessed.

  4. 0:23 Assess: send an assessment in one click

Choose what Arjun is asked about. For an insurance adviser, life cover and health cover are ticked to start, and you can change them. Send 2 of 7 areas, and Arjun gets an email link to answer them himself. The lead card shows when the invitation is sent, opened and completed.

  5. 0:35 Consent: your client decides what you see

Before he starts, Arjun ticks a consent box: his answers, about his age, income, dependants and life cover and his health, tobacco and alcohol use and medical cover, will be stored by Map My Risk and shared with his adviser, and until he finishes nothing leaves his browser. You see only the areas you asked about, the consent is kept with the summary, and clients can withdraw it.

  6. 0:43 Prepare: walk into the meeting prepared

Arjun's lead card shows 2 of 7 areas assessed, with no overall score from a part view. Life cover: INR 4.48 Cr Deficit, with income replacement cover suggested. Health cover: INR 5.00 L Gap (Top-Up Suggested). His emergency fund was not part of what he shared. View the assessment, or download a 2-page summary with the consent record.

  7. 0:55 Advise: meet, recommend, follow through

Schedule the consultation and send a calendar file. The recommendation draft starts from Arjun's own gaps: 1. Term insurance gap of INR 4.48 Cr leaving dependents vulnerable. 2. Health cover of INR 5.00 L is below the INR 10 L minimum family floater. You edit every word before it is emailed. The lead moves from New Inquiry to Scheduled, Proposal Shared and Completed / Won.

  8. 1:06 Grow: your whole pipeline, in one place

The dashboard shows your pipeline by stage, new leads each week and how often families view your profile. Map My Risk doesn't sell financial products: it maps the gaps, and families choose an adviser. Apply at mapmyrisk.com/partner-apply.
